Born in 1986 in South France, Jean André, works as a graphic designer and Artist in Montmartre for Ed banger while exploring his own work. He describes his drawings as ‘gentleman art’, half between charming illustrations and the simple representation of women. His major influences goes from Tom Wesselmann to Matisse, through Richard Kern or Males Adventures magazines from the 50’s. At once minimalist and realistic, he tries to explore all the chances medium offers him.
